Official Terms & Conditions

In honor of Veterans Day, Plumbing Tech is proud to give back to those who’ve served. We’re giving away one free 40-gallon AO Smith standard gas water heater with an expansion tank to a deserving veteran or active-duty military family.

Eligibility:

Nominee must be a U.S. military veteran or active-duty service member (or their immediate family).
Nominee must own and reside in the home where the water heater will be installed.
Property must be located within [Cuyahoga, Summit, Medina counties].
Nominations must be submitted by [August 15th - November 15, 2025].
Self-nominations are allowed.
Nominees must be willing to provide proof of service (e.g., DD214, military ID, etc.) upon request.
The existing water heater must be accessible and able to be replaced under standard installation conditions. Additional work (e.g., code violations, inaccessible placement, relocation, etc.) is not included.

What’s Included:

One 40-gallon AO Smith natural gas water heater.
One thermal expansion tank.
Standard installation labor (removal of old unit and installation of new).
2-year labor warranty and 6-year manufacturer’s full replacement warranty provided by Plumbing Tech.

Not Included:

Any code upgrades, permits, or modifications outside of a standard replacement.
Gas line relocations, venting adjustments beyond manufacturer compatibility, or relocation of the water heater.
Conversion from electric to gas or tankless systems.
Any repairs unrelated to the water heater (e.g., shutoffs, piping not related to heater replacement).

Selection Process:

Nominations will be reviewed by the Plumbing Tech team.
One winner will be selected based on need, service background, and impact.
Winner will be notified by November 18, 2025 and installation will be scheduled before November 30, 2025.

Water tank went bad called them they said they were booked but they will try to fit me in. In less than an hour they called back and said they were able to get us in on same day. Professionally done work. Tech clearly told us in simple terms what needed to be done, patiently answered our questions, and when additional work was discovered made sure we were clear on what was needed, and why.
Had to come back for a second day, and cheerfully worked around our schedule and stayed late to finish. Will call them again if we have other plumbing projects.

We had an unexpected leak with a pipe in our basement. Elias was able to diagnose the problem and work with our restoration company to get us back up and dry quickly and professionally. I want to share my positive experience with Kyle! At first, I contacted a few different plumbers and only Plumbing Tech replied. I needed a water heater the most but I also had other issues.

I felt when Kyle first came to my house he was the man for the job. Plumbing Tech worked within my budget to tell me exactly what I could expect in price depending on how much, or little I wanted.

I decided on getting everything fixed since I felt Kyle was going to do a great job. I've had other plumbers over and the jobs were done satisfactory, though I did end up fixing one myself.

I got a new water heater, new utility sink, multiple valves, and a new garage faucet. The job done was excellent in my opinion. Plumbing Tech LLC., used quality parts and Kyle installed them professionally.

Honestly, I told Kyle it was the best plumbing job I have seen. I think the work was amazing! It makes my room look so much better! Now that I have water I can clean my house and hose off very dirty things outside.

I had a great experience from start to finish. The owner personally took my call on a Sunday when I discovered I had no hot water, and by Monday I had a new tank installed. The communication throughout was excellent...from coordinating the appointment, to the thoughtful touch of sending a photo of the technician before arrival to walking me through the service options (Frank). Dylan, who handled the installation, was professional, skilled and easy to work with. Every part of the interaction felt organized, courteous, and reliable.

I can't thank plumbing tech enough for all of there help! We called late afternoon with a sewer back up issue in our basement, they arrived within an hour and a half, assessed the problem, walked me thru our options and had it fixed by the evening! My elderly mother had a blocked up kitchen sink that we couldn’t get fixed ourselves. Plumbing Tech was recommended by more than a couple residents in our village, so I gave them a call. They were able to come out the next day! They got the kitchen sink unclogged and ended up needing to redo the pipes underneath too. (I’ll try to attach a pic I took.) While they were here, they were also able to unclog a drain in our basement by our washer that we also couldn’t snake ourselves. They gave us a recommendation for the basement along with an estimate to fix some old piping/issues. Thank you Plumbing Tech for everything you’ve done for my mother!
